Russ Jackson Academy was founded to empower photographers to create beautiful portraits & learn to do so while running a successful studio. Russ Jackson Academy offers training to photographers of all levels, from those starting out to those looking to fine-tune their image-making skills.

With 20 years of experience in photographing families, children and newborn babies, Russ is considered one of the most experienced portrait photographers in the U.K.

 Russ has previously hosted masterclasses for Newborn Photography Ltd and at the annual Newborn Baby Show in 2015. Russ also was a speaker at the 2016 international Baby Summit in Atlanta and the Baby Summit 2017 in Brisbane, Australia. Russ was also the main speaker at the FHOX photographic symposium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be a guest speaker at The Newborn Event in Belgium and AFINEB Event in Italy 2018. In addition, Russ was a guest speaker at the Baby & Kid Congress, Milan 2020 and is a regular contributor to the MilkyWay Online Retreat (2018, 2020 and 2022). 

Russ hosts regular in-person workshops at his studio in London and runs workshops throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Together with his wife Val, Russ runs  Russ Jackson Photography, a successful portrait studio in North London.
